We are located in central California in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Formerly known as Mountain Top Rat Terriers, started by Jeanette Mero DVM over 25 years ago. Jeanette graduated from the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and was twice the recipient of the Westminster Kennel Club Scholarship awarded to veterinary students involved in the breeding, and showing of dogs. Dr. Mero now passes on her passion and expertise to her daughter Reyna. Dobermans have always been Reyna's favorite breed from a young age; she has been mentored by Tamra Kaeding, who has bred and shown Dobermans for over 30 years. Our dogs are a HUGE part of our lives, whether traveling to endurance horse competitions with us or sitting on the sidelines at kids' sporting events. Producing happy, healthy well-balanced dogs is of the utmost importance to us. We are a mother-daughter team. While Jeanette focuses on her passion for rat terriers, Reyna is committed to Dobermans.

 

Reyna is following in her mom's footsteps in the veterinary field and will attend veterinary school in the Fall of 2024. Reyna has been immersed in the world of breeding and showing since childhood. She has developed a deep love and appreciation for the loyalty of Dobermans. These "velcro" dogs are renowned for their unwavering devotion to their owners and exceptional intelligence. Reyna's first Doberman made her debut in the show ring with handler, Nicole Torre. Freya achieved her AKC Championship with Nicole at the end of her lead. She is CH Tamra's Hallelujah High. When not in the show ring, Reyna and "Freya" can be found honing their skills in obedience, and running together. 

 

Reyna works closely alongside other breeders, and mentors, and supports the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA). She is committed to producing healthy, happy, well-balanced Dobermans for show, performance, and family companions.
